7 Things to Know Before Visiting Adriana Rooftop in Jimbaran

Adriana Cocina & Bar is a Mexican bar and restaurant on the 8th floor of Samasta Lifestyle Village, part of the Mövenpick Resort & Spa Jimbaran complex on Jl. Wanagiri No.1. It opened in 2024, celebrated its second birthday on 8-15 August 2026, and is now one of the busiest sunset spots in Jimbaran. Here are seven things worth knowing first.

1. It is a hotel rooftop, not a beach bar

You look down at the Jimbaran coastline rather than sit on it. If you want a table on the sand with your feet near the water, look at the seafood warungs such as those at Kedonganan Fish Market. Adriana suits drinks while the sky changes colour, followed by dinner at the same table.

2. Hours differ between weekdays and weekends

Monday to Thursday 4pm to 12:30am, Friday to Sunday 11am to 2am, according to a review updated in April 2026. We could not find these hours on an official page, so confirm on Instagram before a daytime visit. It fills up most around sunset, roughly 5:30pm to 6:30pm.

3. There are two happy hours

Signature cocktails are buy-one-get-one from 4pm to 6pm and again from 10pm to midnight. The offer has been advertised since 2025, so ask staff whether it still runs when you visit.

4. Budget around IDR 250k per person

A Negroni was listed at IDR 165k++ during Negroni Week in September 2025, and a 2026 local guide puts the average spend at around IDR 250k per person. Tax and service are added. Tequila gets its own section: margarita, paloma and a Michelada (tequila, beer, clear tomato, house seasoning). Two signatures the press mentions often are Summer with Adriana (a pisco sour with rum, basil oil and mango) and Adriana's Kiss (pisco, strawberry Aperol, chardonnay).

5. The food is properly Mexican

Tacos with seafood, chicken, beef, pork or vegetable fillings, plus quesadillas, fajitas, carne asada and seafood skewers. Pork is on the menu, so ask first if you need halal food.

6. Smart casual, children allowed

No written rule appears in official sources, but local guides describe it as smart casual and advise against beachwear or flip-flops. Children may come in, though there is no kids' menu and the mood turns more adult after dark. Alcohol is for 21 and over, so bring ID.

7. Book for sunset

Reserve through the WhatsApp number listed on the official Instagram @adrianabali.rooftop, especially at weekends. Live bands and DJs appear at special events such as the August birthday party; a regular schedule is not published, so check Instagram that week.
