Sayan Valley Sunset Bar Ubud: IDR 150k Cocktails Above the Ayung

Sayan Valley Sunset Restaurant & Bar on Jalan Raya Sayan sells a "sunset drinks" session from 4:30pm to 6:45pm above the Ayung River valley, with cocktails at IDR 150-180k before tax. Its latest drinks and tapas menus were uploaded to Chope in October 2026.

What to order and what it costs

The cocktails use local ingredients: a Cardamom Mule, an Umami Sour with sesame oil and a Passion Torch with torch ginger, each IDR 150k; the Coconut Fizz and Violet Negroni IDR 170k; the Sayan Valley Spritz IDR 180k. Bintang and Heineken are IDR 65k, wine by the glass from IDR 150k, mocktails IDR 75-85k. Add 11% tax and 10% service to everything, so two cocktails come to roughly IDR 363-436k.

A "second drink free" happy hour runs from noon to 5pm, so arriving at 4:30pm still catches its last half hour. For lunch, high tea (2-4pm) and dinner (7-9pm) the restaurant asks for prepayment, which is credited to the bill.

Downsides to know

This is an afternoon bar, not a late night: the kitchen and bar close at 9pm. A June 2026 Chope review describes walk-in guests being seated in the second row, with the valley-facing front row kept for bookings. The No. 77 address is also listed under a different hotel on some booking sites, so follow the Google Maps pin or ask for directions when you book. Jalan Raya Sayan is narrow and dark after dinner; hire a driver rather than riding a scooter after drinks.
