Pony Berawa: Cocktail Prices, Busy Hours and Booking

Cocktails at Pony, a wood-fired restaurant and cocktail bar on Jl. Raya Semat in Berawa, cost IDR 140-220k a glass according to its official bar menu (June 2026 edition), before 7% service and 10% tax. It opens every day from 6pm until late and is built so that dinner slowly turns into drinks.

What kind of place it is

Bali media started covering Pony between late June and mid-July 2026. The founder is Ramon Vincent. The kitchen cooks over wood fire in a European style with Japanese touches: grilled meat and seafood, handmade pasta and sharing plates. The interior borrows from classic New York lounges, with burgundy tones and low light. It is a bar-restaurant, not a club. As of September 2026 the official site lists no fixed DJ schedule; Pony only mentions plans for music and art collaborations.

What a night costs

• Signature cocktails: Velvet Pony IDR 150k (or IDR 750k by the bottle), Golden Tropique IDR 160k, Yugen Ember and Picante Blanc IDR 170k.
• Classics: Margarita IDR 150k, Old Fashioned IDR 180k, Barrel Aged Negroni IDR 220k.
• Alcohol-free: "Zero" versions of four signatures, IDR 80k each.
• Beer: Kura Kura Lager on draught IDR 75k, Island Ale IDR 90k. Wine by the glass IDR 150-170k.

Two cocktails per person plus service and tax already comes to around IDR 350-450k (roughly US$22-28). The September 2026 dinner menu is also posted as a PDF on the official site.

When to go

The opening release describes the evening moving from light aperitivo-style drinks to stronger, spirit-forward cocktails as the night goes on. Come around 7pm if you want to eat, or after 9pm if you only want the bar. Book a dinner table for weekends, although walk-ins are accepted.

It is a poor fit if you want to dance or drink cheaply: prices match Seminyak bars, and the mood is lounge rather than party. If you want a dance floor afterwards, Vault in Berawa makes more sense.
