Cosmo Salon & Spa Sanur: Balinese Massage for Rp275k an Hour

A 60-minute Balinese massage at Cosmo Salon & Spa costs Rp275,000, according to the menu on the official site cosmobali.com, checked in October 2026. This family-run salon and spa has been on Jl. Danau Tamblingan since 2003, directly opposite Maya Sanur Resort, and opens daily from 9am to 9pm.

What you can order and what it costs

Every massage starts with a foot soak, and you choose the aromatherapy oil (lavender, citronella, eucalyptus, clove or peppermint). Prices from the official menu:

• Bali Massage: Rp275,000 (1 hour), Rp545,000 (2 hours)
• Deep Tissue, Shiatsu or Thai Massage: Rp315,000 (1 hour)
• Cosmo Fusion (shoulders, neck and back focus): Rp345,000 (70 minutes)
• Cosmo Signature: Rp450,000 (90 minutes)
• Thai Foot Reflexology: Rp215,000 (1 hour) or Rp140,000 (30 minutes)
• Lulur scrub add-on after a massage: Rp150,000 with a shower, Rp170,000 with a soak

A sample bill: a one-hour Bali Massage plus scrub and shower comes to Rp425,000 (roughly US$26). If your legs ache after a day cycling the Sanur beach promenade, a one-hour deep tissue plus 30 minutes of reflexology is Rp455,000. The menu does not say whether tax and service are included, so ask before you start.

The downsides

It costs more than Sanur's cheapest local spas. For comparison, Leha Leha Spa lists 60-minute massages from Rp215,000. Cosmo's treatment rooms are upstairs in a two-storey building, so it is not a good fit if stairs are difficult for you. The ground floor is a hair and nail salon, so the mood is closer to a town salon than a quiet garden spa. There is also a data mismatch: Honeycombers (July 2026) says 60-minute massages start at Rp255,000, while the official menu lists Rp275,000 for the Bali Massage.

On the plus side, the layout suits couples and small groups: two single rooms and four doubles with showers, one with a bathtub big enough for two.
