Nasi Lawar Misol, Pemaron: North Bali Lawar Near Lovina

Warung Nasi Lawar Misol in Pemaron village opens daily from 10:30am to 10pm according to Google Maps (checked October 2026), and serves pork lawar rice made the North Bali way.

Where is it?

On Jl. Gede Wangsa, Pemaron, Buleleng district. Pemaron sits between Singaraja town and the Lovina beach strip, so it is an easy stop on the way from a hotel in Kalibukbuk.

What comes on a plate?

According to the owner, Gede Fajar Satriawan, speaking to Radar Buleleng (August 2026), a plate holds red lawar plek, white lawar, pork serapah, fried pork, lung and a bowl of kuah komoh soup. He says Buleleng lawar stands out through lawar nyuh (coconut) mixed with minced meat and long beans, seasoned with suna cekuh and chopped base genep. On 23 August 2026 the warung held a lawar-eating contest for Indonesia's 81st Independence Day.

How much does it cost?

No price list has been published in the news, on Google Maps or on delivery apps that we could check. Ask the price per plate before ordering, especially if you add extra dishes.

Who should skip it?

Anyone who eats halal or avoids blood. Red lawar plek is made with fresh blood, and nearly every side dish is pork. Even contest entrants said the lawar plek was the hardest part to get down. Reviews are still few (about 10 on Google Maps), so there is no clear picture yet of queues or peak hours. For a more established Singaraja classic, Siobak Khe Lok has been trading since the 1960s.

Quick info

Lawar tastes best freshly mixed, so come around lunchtime rather than just before closing.
