Bali Pulina Agro Tourism is a peaceful coffee and cocoa agro-tourism spot on Jalan Cinta, Sebatu, Tegallalang, north of Ubud. It is famous for authentic kopi luwak (luwak coffee), an educational coffee-processing tour, and, most iconic of all, a wooden terrace deck looking straight out over a green jungle valley and rice terraces. The blend of fresh coffee aroma and natural panorama makes it a favorite stop on a Tegallalang and Sebatu day trip.
Coffee & Tea Tasting Flight
The main draw is a tasting flight of around 10–12 coffee and tea varieties served free, from Bali coffee and vanilla coffee to hot chocolate, lemongrass tea, and rosella tea. Kopi luwak — coffee processed from beans selected by the civet — is served separately for about Rp50k per cup and is well worth trying at least once as a signature Bali experience.
- Around 10–12 coffee & tea tastings (usually free).
- Genuine luwak coffee, about Rp50k per cup.
- Sip while relaxing on the valley-facing deck.
Processing Tour & Photo Spots
Before tasting, you are guided along the garden path to see the traditional coffee-processing steps — from bean to manual roasting over a stove to pounding. Friendly guides explain each stage. There is also a swing and several photo spots with the valley and rice terraces as an Instagrammable backdrop.
- Short tour of the coffee and cocoa processing.
- Swing and photo points against the terraces.
- Main terrace deck for enjoying the view.
Opening Hours & Visiting Tips
Bali Pulina is generally open around 08:30–18:00. Entry is free or low-cost, and the standard coffee tasting is included. Come in the morning for cool air, the best light in the valley, and to avoid tour-group crowds. It pairs perfectly with nearby Pura Gunung Kawi Sebatu, Tirta Empul, or the Tegallalang rice terraces. Wear comfortable footwear as there is a downhill path.
