AVLI Uluwatu: Greek Menu and Prices, Pita from IDR 35k

Wood-fired pita at AVLI, a modern Greek restaurant in Pecatu, Uluwatu, costs IDR 35,000, and a choice of three dips with pita IDR 165,000, according to the menu posted on the official site avlibali.com (checked October 2026). All prices exclude 10% tax and 7% service, so add roughly 18% in your head. AVLI opens daily from 5pm until late on Jl. Labuansait.

What to order

• Dips: taramosalata (fish roe) IDR 75,000, tzatziki IDR 65,000, hummus IDR 60,000, melitzanosalata (smoky aubergine) IDR 60,000.
• Meze: zucchini cakes IDR 90,000, lamb meatballs IDR 110,000, octopus carpaccio IDR 130,000.
• Wood-fired grill: chicken souvlaki at IDR 115,000 is the cheapest grill dish; lamb kebab souvlaki IDR 190,000; a whole 600 g sea bream IDR 350,000.
• Signatures: moussaka IDR 200,000, wagyu gyros IDR 330,000, grilled octopus IDR 260,000, prawn saganaki IDR 300,000.
• Beer: Beaches Brewing IDR 90,000, Kura Kura IDR 100,000, Asahi IDR 120,000.

What you'll spend

A light dinner for two, say three dips with pita, a Greek salad at IDR 130,000 and a chicken souvlaki, comes to IDR 410,000 before tax, or about IDR 480,000 after tax and service. Watch the sharing menu priced per 100 g: lobster pasta IDR 270,000/100 g, tiger prawns IDR 150,000/100 g, whole fish IDR 100,000/100 g. A 1 kg fish alone is IDR 1 million before tax, so ask for the weight before it's cooked.

The downsides

A note on the menu says bills can't be split by item, only equally or by amount. That's a pain if you're with a group who each pay their own way. Tuesdays and Thursdays are OPA nights with plate smashing, and Sundays have a "flower party"; if you want a quiet dinner where you can talk, pick another night and come early. Meat is also pricey even by Uluwatu standards: a 300 g wagyu rib eye is IDR 950,000 before tax.
