Ashe Grill & Bar at Jl. Pantai Pererenan No.156 opens daily 5pm-midnight and has only been running since December 2025, according to its Chope page. It is a wood-fire restaurant with a cocktail bar, not a club, so think dinner that rolls into drinks rather than dancing.
What to order
The kitchen cooks over wood and draws on the food of the Global South; the name comes from Àṣẹ, the Yoruba idea of life force. Dishes named by Chope and by What's New Indonesia's February 2026 openings list: king prawn, 36-hour bone-in short ribs, grilled octopus, striploin, beef tartare and smoky potato purée. The bar focuses on layered cocktails meant for slow sipping.
What it costs
Chope places Ashe at Rp100-250k per person. Per-glass cocktail prices were not published in any online source we could check as of October 2026, so ask for the drinks menu before ordering a second round. The food and drinks menu is marked 21+.
The downsides
Independent reviews are still very thin: Chope shows only one or two, so there is no reliable pattern of praise or complaints yet. Closing at midnight rules it out for a late night. Jl. Pantai Pererenan is narrow and busy with scooters after dark; if you have been drinking, book a car through an app instead of riding.
