Uma Beach House Melasti: Umana Bali's Quiet Beach Club

Uma Beach House opens daily from 10am to 9pm on the sand of Melasti Beach, Ungasan, and charges no entrance fee. Some "new beach clubs of 2026" lists include it, but NOW! Bali and What's New Indonesia reported its opening back in January 2025. What is new this year are the prices and seating packages, checked in September 2026.

How it differs from its neighbours

Uma belongs to the Umana Bali resort, part of LXR Hotels & Resorts (Hilton), but welcomes outside guests. There is no DJ and no pool party, just background music. The kitchen cooks Nikkei (Japanese-Peruvian): white fish ceviche, mushroom anticucho, the UMA poke bowl. It seats about 150 people across four zones: cabanas, dining room, sofas and bar.

What to budget

• Mains from IDR 110k, cocktails from IDR 165k (Honeycombers, June 2026); UMA poke bowl IDR 170k++.
• Minimum spends (ELSKY Bali summary, July 2026): Serenity Cabana IDR 2.7 million for up to 3 people; "Double Vibes" daybed IDR 1.7 million per person; sofa and sand zones IDR 1.5 million per person; Ocean Dining tables IDR 300k++ per person. The bar and regular dining tables have no minimum.
• 21% tax and service on top of ++ prices.

Getting down to the beach

Cars can drive down the paved road cut through Melasti's limestone cliffs to the beach car park, followed by a short walk. The Melasti Beach area charges its own entry (2026 sources put it around IDR 8-15k per person plus parking); Umana guests are exempt. From Canggu, allow 1.5-2 hours each way at busy times.

Not the place if you want a party: Uma closes at 9pm, the pool is small and there is no lifeguard on the sea.
