Entry to Seked Batur is Rp20,000 for adults and Rp15,000 for children, according to a detikBali report with photos taken on 13 December 2025. One ticket can be swapped for a Rp5,000 voucher at the café. This bathing spot on the shore of Lake Batur, Kintamani, has operated since 2012 on about 2 hectares.
What time does Seked Batur open?
07.00-19.00 daily, per the same source. We have not found a newer official version of these hours and prices (checked October 2026), so bring a little extra cash.
How warm is the water?
Only one pool is genuinely warm, about 30°C, roughly 30 m² and knee-deep for an adult. The water pours from seven fish-shaped statues. The other pools are only lukewarm. If you want hotter sulphur water and more pools, Toya Devasya in Toya Bungkah suits you better, at a higher price.
What are the downsides?
- detikBali noted plenty of flies on café tables and food. Staff had tried chilli water and sticky traps, but full traps were not replaced.
- Fish cages on the lake get in the way of the view. Bangli regency says it will tidy them up, with no date.
- Visitors are almost all domestic tourists, and weekends can reach about 200 people a day. Come on a weekday morning if you want the warm pool to yourself.
Can you eat and stay there?
Yes. As of December 2025, fried banana was Rp15,000 (three pieces), fried egg rice Rp18,000, mujair nyat-nyat (spiced lake fish) Rp36,000, hot tea or coffee Rp12,000. Villas cost Rp300,000-800,000 a night.
How do you get there?
About two hours by motorbike from Denpasar via Penelokan, then down to the lakeshore. Many visitors come after the Mount Batur sunrise trek to rest their legs, so 09.00-10.00 can be busier than 07.00.
