A bowl of Babi Guling Dry Ramen at MYKAZA costs IDR 125,000 before 11% tax and 10% service. The Japanese-Balinese restaurant is on level 2 of The Arc House Canggu, Jl. Raya Batu Bolong No. 21B, and runs from breakfast at 7am until the bar closes at 11.45pm. Some lists call it an August 2026 opening, but NOW! Bali covered it on 13 June 2026 and its first Sunday brunch was scheduled for 28 June.
The concept
The name blends "Mikasa" with "mi casa es tu casa". Japanese technique, Balinese seasoning: sambal matah on the ceviche, sambal embe in the ramen, jamu and arak in the cocktails. According to the official site, the kitchen is led by Chef Antok, Indonesian-born and Japanese-trained, with Chef Gerardo from Mexico.
Horigotatsu booths and a tatami room
What sets it apart from other Japanese spots in Canggu are private horigotatsu booths: you sit at floor level with your legs in a well under the table, so there is no long cross-legged sitting. Honeycombers' review also mentions a tatami room with sliding doors and a long black table for small celebrations. Ask for either when you book.

Sunday brunch: the details don't match
The official site describes the Sunday Set as a monthly brunch, with a food set at IDR 488,000++ and food plus drinks at IDR 988,000++. Honeycombers' September new-restaurants list also says "once a month, last Sunday", yet its full review dated 24 September 2026 describes a weekly 11am-3pm brunch at IDR 350,000++ and IDR 738,000++. Confirm the date and price when you book.
The drawbacks
Several signature dishes use pork and are marked "contains pork", with no halal certification mentioned, so Muslim guests should ask first. The hamachi and tenderloin also push the bill up fast: two signature cocktails plus the hamachi and the tenderloin for two already come to about IDR 1.25 million after tax and service. Jl. Raya Batu Bolong gets congested in the late afternoon, though The Arc House offers free parking and valet.
