Lidah Lokal Sanur: 2026 Menu and Price Range

Lidah Lokal Sanur, the restaurant in the lobby of ARTOTEL Sanur at Jl. Kusuma Sari No.1, has run a new "Contemporary Asian Dining with Indonesian Soul" menu since June 2026, with the new dishes priced IDR 40,000-165,000. It is open to non-hotel guests daily from 7am to 11pm, according to NOW! Bali (18 June 2026) and What's New Indonesia (10 September 2026), the two sources we checked on 21 October 2026.

What you can order

• Goreng Be Yuyu, fried crab with sweet-and-sour sauce and fresh vegetables.
• Gurita Base Genep, octopus slow-cooked in Balinese base genep spices, served with urab.
• Nasi Goreng Udang Suna Cekuh, their signature fried rice with shrimp, Balinese spices, egg and sambal embe.
• Rustic Herb Roast Chicken, half a young chicken marinated in peri-peri and coconut water.
• Peri Peri Chicken Fire Curry Noodles, red curry noodles with roast chicken.
• Bubuh Manisan Lokal, black sticky rice with cassava compote, for dessert.

Both sources give only the price range, not prices per dish. Mornings are a breakfast buffet; lunch and dinner are à la carte.

The downsides

This is a hotel restaurant, not a beachside warung. The setting is an art-themed lobby with no sea view. Neither source says whether prices include tax and service, and Bali hotel restaurants often add them to the bill, so budget for the difference. Opening hours also disagree: the Chope listing still says 24 hours, while both 2026 articles say 7am-11pm. If you plan to come late, message first. For much cheaper Balinese food, Nasi Bali Men Weti or Pasar Sindhu night market make more sense.

Do I need to stay at ARTOTEL to eat here? No. ARTOTEL Sanur's general manager said the new menu is also aimed at visitors from outside the hotel.
