La Favela Seminyak: Jungle-Vintage Bar, Restaurant & Club Since 2012 — Party Hours, Drink Prices & Entry Rules

La Favela is a bar, restaurant and nightclub at Jl. Laksamana Oberoi No. 177X (also known as Jl. Kayu Aya), Seminyak, born in 2012 from a small shop and family home. The building was reworked over years into a vintage labyrinth: graffiti, heavily decorated corners, semi-indoor gardens, artificial waterfalls and ponds — inspired by Indonesia's jungles, Rio's favelas and the underground bars of London and New York. Its official website has kept menus and schedules updated throughout 2026.

Atmosphere: From Dinner to Dance Floor

• A hidden entrance behind hanging vines and a wooden boardwalk, then multi-level rooms (ground to second floor) that feel like a "treasure hunt".
• 19:00–23:00: dinner at Rocinha, the restaurant inside La Favela (Latin-style tapas & grill).
• From 22:30: the party takes over; open-format DJs play pop, hip hop & R&B, Top 40 and electronic remixes; the annual Carnival night brings reggaeton & samba.
• Attika on the third floor — a Prohibition-era-style speakeasy since 2017, open Thursday–Saturday 22:00–late.

Drink & Food Prices, Entry

• Cocktails IDR 140–150k (signatures & classics), premium-spirit upgrade IDR 180k; beer from Bintang IDR 60k to Corona IDR 120k; Moët & Chandon Brut IDR 2.95 million per bottle.

• All prices exclude 8% service and 10% tax.
• Entry during party hours: there is a general-entry ticket; a November 2025 review reports free entry for women and about IDR 200–250k for men after roughly 22:00 (including one drink) — policies can change, check on the night.
• Tables/sofas: open bottle service with a minimum spend by category (reviews: about IDR 4–20 million), 100% credited to bottles, paid online in advance and non-refundable.

Dress Code, Age & Tips

• Age: the bar & club areas are 21+ only, ID required; under-21s may stay in the restaurant only until 22:15.
• Dress code: no gym or yoga wear; open-toe shoes are not recommended; skip flip-flops and singlets — management may refuse entry.
• Arrive before 22:00 for dinner and stay on for the party; La Favela is closed on Nyepi.
• Getting home safely: keep valuables close in the crowd, book Grab/Gojek or an official taxi and never drive after drinking; drink only at licensed venues (avoid bootleg arak); Indonesia's narcotics laws are extremely severe and La Favela has zero tolerance for drugs.
