Tabu Supper Club Uluwatu: Minimum Spend, Booking, Busy Hours

A regular dinner at Tabu Supper Club carries no minimum spend. Only VIP tables on event nights do, according to Tabu's official site (checked September 2026). The venue is at Jl. Labuansait No. 10, Pecatu, on the same road as Club Corazón.

Is Tabu a restaurant or a club?

Both, in turns. The kitchen mixes Japanese and Latin American food: sashimi, nigiri, sushi rolls, tacos, ceviche and large sharing dishes. Dinner service starts at 6pm. Once the kitchen closes, the lights drop and the DJ takes over. Tabu belongs to the same group as OURS Bali and several other OURS venues.

What is the minimum spend?

For a normal dinner table: none. For VIP tables on event nights: yes, but the amount is not published. Ask via the WhatsApp link on the official site before you go, especially for a large group.

How much are drinks?

This cannot be confirmed. The menu uploaded to the official site in August 2026 is published without prices. Bills add 10% government tax plus a service charge. Cocktails lean on tequila and mezcal; the most ordered, per their own site, is the Spicy Margarita (tequila, passion fruit, lime, jalapeño). The site also lists Balinese arak; if you are curious, read our arak rules and risks for visitors first.

Do I need a reservation?

For Friday and Saturday, yes. Tabu's own site says walk-ins are often turned away after 8pm on high-season weekends. Event nights also have a guest list via The Beat Bali, for example the "Who Am I" night on 12 June 2026.

When does it get busy?

The club mood starts around 10pm. According to the official site, the DJ programme runs Wednesday to Saturday: afrohouse on Wednesday, reggaeton on Thursday, house on Friday and themed nights by guest promoters on Saturday. Saturday fills first. However, the 2026 Little Bingin guide lists a different line-up, including a two-for-one martini happy hour on Thursdays and Sundays. In other words the programme changes often; check Instagram before heading out.

What time does it close?

Sources disagree. Some directories list 5pm-11pm (Sunday-Thursday) and until midnight (Friday-Saturday), while the official site only says "until late".

Is there a dress code or age limit?

Smart casual. Beachwear and flip-flops are refused on busy nights. Alcohol is only sold to people aged 21 and over, so bring ID.

What are the downsides?

Most of the detailed information comes from Tabu's own marketing blog, and prices are not public. It is a poor fit if you want a quiet dinner after 10pm from Wednesday to Saturday, because the music rises in the same room.
