Samabe Bali Suites & Villas Nusa Dua: Who Is It Right For?

Ocean-front suites at Samabe Bali Suites & Villas cost roughly US$370-450 a night. Travelocity showed about US$372 (US$411 with taxes) for one night in March 2026, while all-inclusive-guide's March 2026 research review lists from US$450 with the Unlimited Privileges package; one-bedroom villas with a private pool start around US$700. We checked these sources on 9 October 2026, and rates for your dates may differ, so compare directly on samabe.com.

The resort opened in June 2013 on Jl. Pura Barong-Barong, Sawangan, at the southern tip of the Nusa Dua enclave: 39 suites and 42 private-pool villas on a cliff about 30 metres high, with a guests-only white-sand beach below.

What Unlimited Privileges covers

• Buffet breakfast 07:00-11:00 at Rempah-Rempah or à la carte at any time, à la carte lunch and dinner, and afternoon tea 14:30-17:00.
• Non-alcoholic drinks at any hour; cocktails, beer, wine and spirits from 11:00 until midnight in any open restaurant or bar.
• One Samabe Signature Activity per night stayed, non-motorised water sports (kayak, Hobie Cat catamaran, windsurfing, snorkelling, SUP), yoga and a 24-hour gym.
• Daily laundry (excluding dry cleaning) and e-butler service.
• Private airport transfers only for 5-night stays booked directly on samabe.com.

Spa treatments beyond the package allowance, souvenir shopping and room phone calls are charged separately, so bring a credit card. Tickets to the Devdan Show and off-property tours are not included either.

Who it suits

• Couples and honeymooners who don't want to think about food bills for 3-5 nights; there are Honeymoon Suite categories and private-pool villas.
• Families with children aged 3 and up. The Lumba-Lumba Kids Club runs daily 09:00-17:00 with no reservation needed; children under 3 must be accompanied by a parent or nanny.
• Guests who genuinely want to stay put. All-inclusive only pays off if you eat and drink on site almost every day.

Who it doesn't suit

• Guests with limited mobility. The beach at the foot of the cliff is reached by 165 steps or a cliff lift (inclinator) that sometimes has a queue, according to all-inclusive-guide.
• People who want to go out often at night. The resort sits at the far end of the enclave, so Jimbaran or Uluwatu means a taxi, package drinks stop at midnight, and premium spirits and champagne cost extra.
• Anyone expecting warm pools. Villa pools are unheated and feel cold in July-August and December-January. Galangal Spa also has only two treatment rooms, so book your spa slot as soon as you arrive.
