Nusa Ceningan is a small island tucked between Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Penida. Far smaller and much quieter, it can be explored by scooter in just a few hours. Its main icon is the Yellow Bridge (Jembatan Kuning), a narrow suspension bridge that connects Ceningan to Lembongan and serves as the gateway to the island.
Blue Lagoon & Iconic Spots
The number-one draw is the Blue Lagoon, a small cove of clear turquoise water framed by dramatic limestone cliffs. Right beside it is a popular cliff-jumping spot, but do it with great caution and follow local operators' guidance, as waves and depth can be dangerous.
- Blue Lagoon — turquoise cove framed by cliffs.
- Mahana Point — cliff-jump spot & sunset warung.
- Secret Beach (Secret Point) — a small hidden beach.
- Ceningan Cliffs — a line of cliffs for watching the sunset.
Access & How to Explore
From Sanur, take a fast boat to Nusa Lembongan, about 30–45 minutes. Once in Lembongan, rent a scooter (around Rp70,000–100,000 per day) and cross the Yellow Bridge to Ceningan. The roads are narrow and winding, so ride slowly. Bring cash, drinking water, and sunscreen, as warungs and ATMs here are limited.
