Entry to Moondy Strawberry Farm in Pancasari, Sukasada district, Buleleng, costs Rp10,000 per person. Whatever you pick is weighed and charged at Rp70,000 per kilogram. The farm opens daily from 9am to 5pm. These figures come from a 2026 detikBali list of fruit-picking farms and were re-checked in October 2026.
What you actually do there
The farm sits beside the main Denpasar-Singaraja road on the Pancasari plateau, on the same highland stretch as Bedugul and Lake Buyan. The plots are large, so you can walk the rows and choose fruit that is red all the way to the stem. The routine is simple: pay, take a container, pick, then weigh at the till. No booking needed.
No source we found names the variety. If you want large, sweet Japanese strawberries, La Fresa in Kintamani charges Rp25,000 per 100 grams, about Rp250,000 a kilo. Moondy's per-kilo price is less than a third of that.
What it costs
- Entry: Rp10,000 per person (about US$0.60).
- Picked strawberries: Rp70,000 per kg. Two people picking one kilo spend about Rp90,000.
- Hours: 9am-5pm according to detikBali. A third-party directory lists 6pm closing on weekends, so weekend hours are not confirmed.
The downsides
Prices are confirmed by a single news listing, and the farm has no official website. Fruit supply also varies. Another strawberry grower on the shore of Lake Buyan told detikBali in October 2026 that his plants are often picked clean on holidays. The Pancasari-Wanagiri road also gets congested on weekends and holiday periods. Indonesia's weather agency expects Bali's rainy season to start only in November, so October is still fairly dry for walking between beds.
Moondy works best as a 30-45 minute stop on the drive between Denpasar and Lovina, especially with kids. To make a day of it, pair it with Lake Buyan, a few minutes up the road.
