IKI Izakaya, the new restaurant from the team behind Margaret, is now operating at Jl. Tanah Barak No. 30, Canggu, every day from 8am to midnight. Its official site says "Est. 2026", and Honeycombers put it on its Hot New Tables list for October 2026.
What is new
Two floors with an open kitchen. Breakfast runs 8am-4pm and the main menu noon to midnight. The idea is a Japanese izakaya that roams freely: nigiri and hand rolls, but also bibimbap, pad thai, tom yum and syrniki. The Honeycombers review singles out the wagyu burger and the greens with shiso-yuzu dressing (IDR 45k).
Prices from the official menu (checked October 2026)
- Breakfast: okonomiyaki-style omelette IDR 120-130k, steak and eggs IDR 180k
- Nigiri IDR 40-75k, hand rolls from IDR 35k
- Wagyu burger IDR 125k, skirt steak IDR 240k, Australian rib eye IDR 650k
- Kura Kura beer IDR 80k, sake IDR 180k, soju IDR 140k
All prices exclude 10% tax and 6% service.
What it means for visitors
Opening until midnight makes it a late-dinner option on Tanah Barak, the same road as Giselle. Honeycombers notes valet parking for cars and motorbikes, rare on Canggu's narrow streets. The downside: if you want a purist Japanese izakaya, the menu wanders too far, and IDR 80k for a beer before tax feels steep for an everyday spot.
