Warung Apple Lovina: Rp45k Nasi Campur and Fresh Grilled Fish

The special nasi campur at Warung Apple in Lovina costs Rp45,000 a plate, according to Bali Holiday Secrets (updated November 2025). You get chicken satay with peanut sauce, chicken with sambal matah, a fried egg, sweet tempeh, sautéed greens, crackers and peanuts. For a tourist street in Kalibukbuk, that is cheap.

This family warung opened in 2008 on Jl. Mawar, a short lane parallel to Jl. Binaria full of hotels and bars, next to Hotel Astina. It holds 4.6 on Google from about 810 reviews (as listed on Restaurant Guru, September 2026), and reviews from the last two to four months show it still draws plenty of foreign diners.

The Downsides

There is no air conditioning, only wall fans, so midday in Lovina can feel sticky. It is cash only and not wheelchair accessible. One Google review from around August 2026 complained that every item on the bill was about Rp5,000 higher than the menu price; other reviews do not mention this, but compare your receipt with the menu before paying. It also opens at 10am, so it will not work for breakfast after a dawn dolphin trip.
