The Lovina Bali: Kitchen Suite or Pool Villa, Who Is It For?

The Lovina Bali is a beachfront resort in Lovina, Buleleng, with 89 suites and villas, 27 of them with a private pool, according to its official website. The cheapest aggregator rates start at about US$70-77 a night (Travelocity, checked October 2026), well below comparable resorts in south Bali.

Room types per the official site

• Studios and suites with 1, 2 or up to 3 bedrooms (penthouse). Every suite is at least 60 m² and has a kitchen.
• Private pool villas: 1 Bedroom Garden Pool Villa, 2 Bedroom Terrace Beach Villa and 4 Bedroom Grand Beach Villa.
• Facilities: 2 shared pools, 2 restaurants, a Sunset Bar, Body Tonic Spa, gym and yoga, about 200 m of beachfront.

Rates: official vs OTA

The official site sends you to a direct booking engine with no public price list, so the official rate only appears once you enter dates. On aggregators, Travelocity shows about US$70 (US$77 with taxes) for an entry room, while HotelsCombined Canada showed C$94 to C$444 per night in June 2026 depending on type. A spread that wide makes sense given the range from studio to four-bedroom villa. Compare the direct rate with OTAs for the same dates, and check whether breakfast is included.

Who it suits and who it does not

It makes most sense for families or groups who want a kitchen and more space than a hotel room, and for couples after a pool villa at Lovina prices. It is close to central Lovina, so you can walk to restaurants outside. It suits you less if you want to swim in the sea: a guest review quoted on its own website says the beach in front is unsuitable for swimming because of sea urchins and dirt, so you rely on the pools.
