Entry to Sunset Beach by Mrs Sippy is free. What you pay for is a daybed: a single daybed carries a Rp300,000 minimum spend per person, according to the official venue information page (checked October 2026). The beach club sits on Seminyak Beach at Jl. Camplung Tanduk No. 99, between La Plancha and Ku De Ta, and calls itself the calmer younger sibling of Mrs Sippy: less party, more lounging.
What to order
The daytime beach club menu has pizzas at Rp160-220k, a wagyu burger at Rp160k, tacos at Rp50k each, nasi goreng or mie goreng at Rp160k and a sashimi bowl at Rp250k. The Grill area has its own menu: six fresh oysters Rp180k, spaghetti vongole Rp210k, a 200 g wagyu rump Rp395k, a 250 g black angus sirloin Rp595k, and whole Jimbaran-style grilled fish. Menu prices are in thousands of rupiah and exclude 10% tax plus 7% service.
Most cocktails cost Rp150-160k (The Sunset, Aperol Spritz, Negroni, Spicy Margarita), a Peach Frosé Rp170k, a can of Bali Hai beer Rp60k and a whole coconut Rp80k. Sangria and piña colada pitchers are Rp650k.
What two people spend
A sample bill from the menu: four cocktails, one margherita pizza and one serve of fries come to Rp840k, or close to Rp1 million after tax and service. That already clears the daybed minimum for two (Rp600k), so the minimum rarely bites if you eat there. Towels rent for Rp50k each, and outside towels are not allowed.
When to go
The "Sunset Session" DJ plays Monday to Saturday from 5pm, and the group bookings page lists daily DJ sets from 5pm to 8pm. Sundays bring "Sunday Club" with rotating line-ups. The site recommends booking daybeds ahead on busy days, since front-row seats fill up before sunset. If you want a hotel within walking distance of this stretch of beach, AccessiaPass hotel vouchers for Seminyak are a good place to start.
The downsides
- Opening hours are inconsistent: the homepage says 10am-10pm, the FAQ says 10am till late, and Bali Beach Club Pass says until 9pm. Confirm on WhatsApp if you are coming in the evening.
- It is family-friendly during the day and children are welcome. If you want an adults-leaning vibe or a louder pool party, Mrs Sippy or Potato Head suit better.
- The site lists no dress code or age limit. Beachwear is fine; carry ID if you order alcohol.
- The surf at Seminyak Beach is strong. If you want a sea swim after drinks, wait a while, and only swim between the lifeguards' red and yellow flags.
