Studio Pepe, an Italian restaurant from Pablo Fourcard and Jordie Strybos (founders of Milk & Madu and Longtime), is open on Jl. Pemelisan Agung No. 09 in Berawa. Bali Food & Travel put it on its August 2026 new-openings list, but The Asia Collective already listed it in its March 2026 update, so it has been trading since at least early 2026.
What is new
Where Milk & Madu is known as a family café, Studio Pepe is built around Italian family-table sharing: small antipasti, handmade pasta and wood-fired cooking, with an open kitchen and an inner courtyard.
Prices on the official menu (checked October 2026)
- Pasta: linguine al limone IDR 160k, spaghetti vongole IDR 180k, n'duja rigatoni alla vodka IDR 240k, wood-fired beef cheek lasagna IDR 260k
- Pizzetta IDR 160-200k; wood-fired puffbread IDR 60k
- Mains: heritage pork cotoletta IDR 280k; Stockyard bone-in ribeye IDR 1.3 million per kg (allow 45 minutes)
- Tiramisu IDR 160k; kids' dishes IDR 150k
- Three Martini Lunch: buy two martinis and the third is free, IDR 360k
All prices are before tax and service.
Worth knowing
For two people with two pastas, one antipasto and one dessert, expect around IDR 700-800k before tax, service and drinks. That is well above a typical Berawa café. The opening days are not consistent either: the official site says daily 11am-11pm (kitchen until 10pm), while The Asia Collective and Bali Food & Travel say Tuesday to Sunday, closed Monday. If you plan a Monday visit, check first via the WhatsApp number on the official site.
