Before You Go to The Shady Pig Uluwatu: Nights, Dress Code, Tables

For the week of 23-27 September 2026, The Shady Pig Uluwatu at Jl. Labuansait No.315, Pecatu, is running events Wednesday through Sunday, not just Wednesday to Friday as some older guides still say. It is the clifftop sibling of The Shady Pig speakeasy in Berawa, run by The Shady Family group: 1950s burlesque interiors, red seats, low light and a rooftop for sunset. Here is what people most often get wrong before they go.

The address varies online

Little Bingin and the see.events listings use Jl. Labuansait No.315, while the Megatix ticket page says Jl. Pantai Padang-Padang, Pecatu. Both describe the same stretch of road toward Padang Padang, but house numbers on the Bukit rarely help drivers. Use the Google Maps pin and ask for a shared location on WhatsApp when you book.

Don't expect a password door like in Berawa

The Berawa branch is known for its unmarked door and a password shared on Instagram. The Uluwatu concept is closer to a late-night lounge with a rooftop, and no official source mentions a password system here. Ask how to get in when you reserve, especially on a first visit after dark.

Event nights and busy hours

• This week's schedule (see.events, checked September 2026): Wednesday-Sunday, starting around 7pm.
• Friday is Sazon (Latin tech house and tribal grooves), Sunday is PULSE with melodic house. DJ line-ups change weekly.
• The rooftop is used for sunset and live music; the room downstairs fills up once the DJ starts.
• Monday and Tuesday are not on the schedule. Check Instagram before heading out.

Dress code and age

Every event on Megatix is marked 18+, so bring your passport or original ID. The Shady Family's Berawa venue turns away swimwear, singlets, flip-flops and sportswear; assume the same applies here. A linen shirt, neat trousers or tailored shorts and clean shoes are the safe choice.

Tables, prices and who it doesn't suit

The Megatix page says tables are limited and booked through the WhatsApp link on each event page. Ticket prices and table minimum spends are not published, so ask when booking. As a benchmark, signature cocktails at the Berawa branch are reported at around IDR 150,000-250,000 (checked September 2026). If you only want one cold beer at sunset, this place is overpriced and too dark for it; a beach bar at Padang Padang fits better.
