Ikan Bar Nusa Dua: Social Hour, Cocktail Prices, Hours

Ikan Bar at The Westin Resort Nusa Dua is open daily from 11:30am to 1am, and the cheapest time to go is Social Hour from 4pm to 6pm, when selected cocktails start at IDR 135,000++ a glass (checked on Ikan's official site, October 2026). The bar shares its space with Ikan Restaurant, a beachfront seafood restaurant inside the ITDC resort enclave of Nusa Dua, and it is open to non-hotel guests.

7 things people often miss

• The sun does not set in front of you. Nusa Dua beach faces east. At dusk you get a sky that changes colour over a calm sea, not the sun dropping into the water as in Jimbaran or Uluwatu. If a sunset photo is the goal, pick a west-facing beach.
• "++" means 21% on top. The official site lists 21% tax and service. The monthly "Stories in a Glass" cocktail is IDR 190,000++ a glass, so about IDR 230,000 after tax.
• The cocktails use local ingredients. Examples are the Kelapa Negroni (Three Peaks gin fat-washed with coconut oil, Campari, jackfruit vermouth) and the Nusa Penida (vodka, vermouth, seaweed brine). The Ikan Bar page says its team placed Top 3 in Marriott's 2026 Asia Pacific sustainable bartender championship, and on 7-8 August 2026 the bar hosted a guest shift by bartender Kiki Moka.
• Book through the website. The reservation button on ikanrestaurant.com links to SevenRooms, and the official WhatsApp number is on the same page. If you want a front-row table at Social Hour, book ahead.
• The Sunken Lounge is priced separately. "Sunken by the Tide" is a sunken lounge with a private butler, available 5pm-10pm with terms and conditions. Its price is not published online, so ask when you book.
• Shisha starts at 6pm. The shisha menu runs 6pm-10pm. If smoke bothers you, ask for a table on the restaurant side.
• Dress code and age. The site lists no dress code; resort casual is fine. Alcohol is for 21+ only, so bring ID.

The ITDC resort area is gated and its roads are long, so after midnight order a taxi or Grab from the Westin lobby instead of walking out to the main road. For comparison, Manarai Beach House on the Sofitel beach is louder with DJs, while Ikan Bar suits two or three cocktails and conversation.
