KUMO Ubud: New Omakase in Pengosekan From IDR 800k

KUMO Fusion Omakase & Steak, a new restaurant at Riviera Boutique Hotel Ubud on Jalan Raya Pengosekan, sells omakase from four courses at IDR 800k up to ten courses at IDR 2 million. It appeared on Chope in August 2026 and uploaded its full menus in September 2026. No official opening date has been published.

• Omakase: First Encounter 4 courses IDR 800k, The Journey 6 courses IDR 1.2 million, Chef's Selection 8 courses IDR 1.6 million, The KUMO Experience 10 courses IDR 2 million
• Steaks from the fire: Indonesian grass-fed fillet mignon 250 g IDR 180k, Australian wagyu MB5 striploin IDR 360k, MB7 and MB9 tenderloin IDR 400k, including starter, soup, vegetables, one carb and one sauce
• Caramelised garlic butter crab 250 g IDR 400k, salmon steak IDR 170k
• Cocktails IDR 149-195k (Espresso Martini IDR 195k, classics IDR 179k), beer IDR 45-55k

All prices exclude 10% tax and 11% service, so the cheapest omakase ends up around IDR 968k per person.

What is still unclear

The steak menu heads its column "per 100gr" above 250 g portions, so it is unclear whether IDR 400k covers 100 g or the full cut; MB7 and MB9 are also priced the same. Ask when ordering before choosing wagyu. There are no guest reviews on Chope and no local press coverage yet, so quality is untested. Closed on Mondays.
