Japanese Shipwreck Amed: Snorkeling a WWII Wreck Right Off the Beach

The Japanese Shipwreck in Amed is one of the most unique snorkeling spots in East Bali. This small WWII-era Japanese cargo wreck rests in shallow water near Banyuning, just meters from the shoreline. Today the hull is covered in colorful coral and home to many tropical fish, making it very friendly for snorkeling and freediving without needing a boat.
