Ibu Susu Ubud: Cocktail Prices, Happy Hour, Closing Time

Ibu Susu opens daily from 12pm to midnight, an hour later than several other Ubud bars that close at 11pm according to Honeycombers’ August 2026 list. This Asian bar and kitchen at Jl. Monkey Forest No. 22 is run by Ketut, the owner and head bartender, and the cocktail list runs to more than 15 house creations.

What to order and what it costs

The February 2026 drinks menu lists cocktails at Rp125-150k: Pandan Colada (coconut rum, grilled pineapple, pandan) Rp125k, Pomelo Smoke Negroni with cherry-wood smoke Rp150k, and Your Majes-tea, an earl grey gin served in a smoking teapot, Rp145k. Corn Hub (Rp145k) uses the whole ear of corn, kernels to silk. Bintang 330 ml is Rp50k, Kura Kura Summer Ale Rp95k, wine by the glass Rp98-130k, mocktails Rp60k. All prices exclude 7% service and 10% tax.

The happy hour menu (June 2026) drops eight cocktails, including the Pandan Colada and Salted Caramel Espresso Martini, to Rp85k++. The hours are not printed on the menu; ask when you book.

Verdict

On Chope, Ibu Susu scores 4.8 from 240 reviews by guests who actually attended. The downsides: it is a bar for sitting and eating, not dancing, and there is no published live music schedule. One cocktail after tax is about Rp150-175k (roughly US$10), so three drinks cost as much as dinner. If you want a band, No Más is on the same street.
