Fuglen Bali in Pererenan: When Does Coffee Turn into Cocktails?

Since when has Fuglen been in Bali?

The official announcement is dated 28 March 2026, so not April as is often reported. It is the brand's second Indonesian venue after Fuglen Jakarta at ASHTA District 8 (November 2024). Fuglen started in Oslo in 1963 and has been in Tokyo since 2012.

What time does it close?

Monday to Wednesday at 11pm, Thursday to Sunday at midnight. Cocktail last orders stay at 10pm every day, so the final hour is for finishing your drink.

What to order in the morning and afternoon?

Nordic light-roast coffee, including single-origin filter. The drink the press mentions most is the Shakerato: coffee shaken with ice and a little brown sugar in a cocktail shaker, as an espresso or a latte.

What is it like at night?

The same room becomes a cocktail bar with classic and signature drinks. The interior uses vintage Norwegian mid-century furniture sourced from Europe and Japan, combined with native Indonesian wood.

As of October 2026, Fuglen Bali has not published a priced menu, neither on its website nor in coverage by NOW! Bali and Exquisite Taste. Check the menu board at the counter before ordering, or ask via [email protected].

Who doesn't it suit?

Anyone after DJs, a dance floor or drinking past midnight. Cocktail orders stop at 10pm and no music programme has been announced. The site lists no dress code or age limit; bring ID if you order alcohol.

Jl. Pantai Pererenan is busy with scooters at night, so after two cocktails a ride-hailing car is the safer way home.
