Bali Swing, Bongkasa Pertiwi (Ubud)

Swinging out over the green Ayung River valley is one of Bali's most iconic experiences, and the original Bali Swing in Bongkasa Pertiwi village (Abiansemal, near Ubud) is the place that made it famous. With a row of swings at different heights, bird nests and romantic photo spots, it blends an adrenaline rush with a tropical gorge panorama. Note that it is different from Alas Harum, which is in Tegallalang.

Swings & Attractions

The highest swing soars to about 35 metres above the valley floor. Besides single swings and the adrenaline swing, there are a romantic couples' swing, a bed swing, a sky bed and several bird-shaped nests for photos. All rides come with a harness and are supervised by staff for safety.

Best Time & Access

Open daily 08:00–17:00. Come in the morning to avoid queues and get the best light. It's about a 30–40 minute drive from central Ubud. Clear weather makes for more dramatic photos, but morning mist also gives the valley a magical feel.
