A Traditional Eastern or Signature Deep Tissue massage at Chantara Wellness & Spa, Jl. Danau Poso 104, Sanur, is listed at IDR 285k for 60 minutes and IDR 350k for 90 minutes on its official PDF menu. That menu is dated May 2022, but as of October 2026 it is still the only price list linked from chantaraspa.com, so confirm before you go.
What do the other treatments cost?
- Warm Stone Massage: IDR 325k (75 min), IDR 390k (90 min)
- Restorative De-Stress Back Massage: IDR 165k (30 min), IDR 325k (60 min)
- Pure Botanical Salt Glow, a salt scrub with head massage: IDR 325k (70 min)
- Oriental Blossom Body Exfoliation: IDR 350k (70 min)
For comparison, Chantara's listing on the Waug platform, live in October 2026, sells 90-minute sessions for about USD 31-42, which matches the menu range.
What is included in a session?
According to the menu, every massage starts with ginger tea, a foot soak and foot scrub, and ends with lime water. There are four private treatment rooms upstairs, a hand and foot salon corner, and an organic tea lounge on the ground floor. Products come from Biossentials, the Malaysian company behind the Chantara brand.
Opening hours and how to book?
The official contact page lists 10am-6pm, by appointment. Book by phone, WhatsApp or email as listed on chantaraspa.com. The spa also still runs Balinese massage courses in 2026 through Chantara Academy.
What are the downsides?
It closes at 6pm, so it will not work for an evening massage after a day at the beach. Jl. Danau Poso is a busy stretch of southern Sanur and not on the beach; from northern Sanur you will need a ride. The menu does not say whether prices include tax, and the 2022 figures may have gone up.
Is it pricier than other Sanur spas?
It sits in the middle. It costs more than Leha Leha Spa and slightly less than The Shampoo Lounge Sanur, which charges IDR 325k for 60 minutes.
