Aling-Aling Waterfall Sambangan: Cliff Jumps & Natural Slides in North Bali

Hidden in Sambangan village near Singaraja, North Bali, Aling-Aling Waterfall is a water-adventure paradise unlike an ordinary waterfall. Beyond the main roughly 35-meter cascade, the area is famous for a series of smaller falls offering natural cliff jumps of around 5 and 10 meters and a natural rock slide into clear pools. These activities can only be done with a local guide.

The guide shows you safe jumping points and the correct body position. The pools below are deep enough, but instruction is still needed since the bottom and current can change. Jumping off the main Aling-Aling fall itself is forbidden because it's too high and dangerous.
