Red Carpet Champagne Bar Seminyak: Tables, Hours, Prices

Tables at Red Carpet Champagne Bar, Jl. Kayu Aya 42, Seminyak, are booked by WhatsApp with a deposit of Rp1.5 million (about US$90) for up to four people and Rp3 million for up to ten, according to its official reservations page (checked October 2026). The champagne bar has been open since 2009 at the start of "Eat Street", opposite La Favela, and The Beat Bali's nightlife guide, updated in September 2026, still describes it as busy most nights.

Seven things people get wrong or miss

• It is a bar, not a club. Entertainment is a live band every day plus a huge library of 70s to 90s music videos for sing-alongs. The Beat Bali notes the crowd skews older. If you want a dance floor until the small hours, cross the road to La Favela.
• Opening hours are inconsistent. The official site says daily from 3pm until late, Chope says 12pm-1am, Wanderlog says until 2.30am. If you plan to arrive after midnight, ask on WhatsApp first. The general rules are in our article on bar and club closing times in Bali.
• A table deposit is not an entry fee. Without a booking you can still sit at the bar. The site does not say whether the deposit comes off the final bill, so ask when you book. Guests who reserve get 50% off their first cocktail.
• Check prices before ordering champagne by the glass. The bar claims more than a hundred labels. Several older TripAdvisor reviews complain about a small pour of house champagne for the price, so ask for the list with brands and prices first.
• Promotion listed on the site: the Long Island Iced Teapot, more than two Long Islands in one teapot, for Rp275,000. Promotions change, so confirm it is still running.
• There is a free ride home. According to the official site, canapés, cold towels and water come round roughly every 30 minutes, and the bar offers free drop-off to your hotel or villa. Ask about the coverage area early. It beats riding a scooter down busy Kayu Aya after midnight.
• Age and clothing. The legal age to buy alcohol in Indonesia is 21 (Trade Ministry Regulation No. 20 of 2014), so carry your passport or a copy. The site lists no dress code; The Beat Bali advises dressing up for a night out in Seminyak, shoes included.

Who it does not suit

If you want cheap drinks before moving on, this is the wrong stop: table deposits run into millions of rupiah and champagne by the glass costs far more than at a beach bar. Electronic music fans will also tire of the oldies setlist quickly. It works best for birthday groups, couples who want to settle in with a bottle, and anyone who loves a sing-along.
