On Jl. Sukma Kesuma in Peliatan — about a ten-minute drive from Ubud Palace — Sayuri Healing Food has been Bali's reference point for raw-vegan food for more than a decade. As of 2026 the cafe is still operating at the same address, now alongside an academy running plant-based chef trainings.
Atmosphere and Opening Hours
The space is open and shaded with plenty of outdoor seating, reliable Wi-Fi and wheelchair access. It opens daily from 8am to 11pm with last orders at 10pm, so it works equally well for a slow breakfast or a relaxed dinner.
- Busiest from breakfast through midday; late afternoons are usually quieter.
- Parking is available in front, but the lane is narrow so a scooter is easier.
- Takeaway and delivery are available, including through GoFood and GrabFood.
Signature Menu and Price Range
The menu leans heavily on raw-living food with some cooked options; everything is plant-based and much of it gluten-free.
- Raw cakes: Black Forest Cake, Mint Chocolate Spiral, Caramel Dream Torte and Banana Dream Pie — around IDR 50,000–61,000 a slice.
- Smoothie bowls: Choco Magic, Ecstatic, Mega Protein, Immunity and Maca Mocha — around IDR 76,000.
- Mains: Mac & Cheese Bowl, Laksa Bowl, Korean BBQ Jackfruit Burger and Ramen Gyoza Combo — around IDR 76,000–105,000.
- Ferments: Ninja Kimchi, green spirulina sauerkraut, plus kombucha scoby and kefir grains to take home — around IDR 43,000–54,000.
Cooking Classes and Community Events
Sayuri Healing Food Academy runs Raw Vegan Chef Certification Training Level 1, Cooked Vegan Chef Training Level 1 and Raw Chocolate Chef Training Level 1, plus private sessions, group classes and online courses. In the evenings the cafe often hosts devotional singing, ecstatic movement, yoga and sound journeys — ideal if you are vegan, avoiding gluten, or want to study raw food seriously.
